Georgia reportedly loses defensive lineman, former 4-star recruit, to transfer portal
Transfer portal announcements have been coming at a record clip so far this week.
And it looks like Wednesday will be another busy day on the transfer front.
In the SEC, news broke Wednesday morning that Georgia reserve defensive lineman Bill Norton would be leaving the program to enter the portal.

Norton confirmed the report later Wednesday morning via Twitter, thanking members of Georgia’s coaching staff and Bulldogs fans.

The 6-6, 300-pound Norton had appeared in all 13 of Georgia’s games this season as a backup defensive lineman and special teams performer.
He recorded 3 tackles during his junior season.
Norton was a highly touted recruit for the Bulldogs out of Christian Brothers High School in Memphis.
He was rated by the 247Sports composite as a 4-star prospect and one of the top 200 players in the 2019 class.
In addition to Georgia, Norton also held offers from Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, and Ohio State, among several others.
