Georgia’s offensive line will experience a bit of a shake up for the next few weeks following a hand injury to starting center Warren Ericson.

Sedrick Van Pran-Granger is expected to be the primary replacement, though other young players could rotate in, according to Seth Emerson of The Athletic.

Ericson played in nine of 10 games last season, and got his first start at Missouri, but he played at center and right guard in the same series in the win at South Carolina. He started at center and played the entire game of Georgia’s Peach Bowl win over Cincinnati.

Van Pran-Granger is a 6-foot-4, 310-pound redshirt freshman center, and he impressed in spring workouts, but the other options are Austin Blaske and Cameron Kinnie at the center position. Another route is senior team captain Jamaree Salyer, though Salyer is considered an option at left tackle as well as his more natural spot at guard.

Georgia is looking for continuity and chemistry along the offensive line, but depth doesn’t appear to be an issue, as this injury has highlighted, the Bulldogs have multiple options to replace him.
