Georgia reportedly offering free grades to stressed students

Everyone knows that college can be stressful, but one Georgia professor is doing what he can to prevent that stress from overwhelming his students.
Dr. Richard Watson, a business professor at the University of Georgia, has taken it upon himself to change the structure in which he gives grades to his students. According to an online course syllabi obtained by campusreform.org, students enrolled in his course have the option to select their own grades if they aren’t satisfied with the one they receive.
In addition, student’s tests and exams will be open book and open notes, will only require a minimal amount of knowledge on the coursework and should only take half of the allotted time to complete.
It’s a bold move to allow students to pick their own grades regardless of the work they put in, and Dr. Watson knows that.
“While this policy might hinder the development or group skills and mastery of the class material, ultimately these are your responsibility,” Dr. Watson stated in the syllabi. “I will provide every opportunity for you to gain high level of mastery.”
Don’t be surprised if the enrollment slots available for this course fill up rather quickly.
