The No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs announced a scheduled home-and-home series with the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes on Thursday.

Two of the most storied programs in college football history, the schools will meet in Athens on September 14, 2030 and Columbus on August 30, 2031.

Georgia football’s official Twitter account confirmed the announcement:

Despite their rich histories, the Bulldogs and Buckeyes have only met once before, a 21-14 Georgia win in the Citrus Bowl on January 1, 1993.

Kirby Smart’s team also has future series booked against Oklahoma (2023, 2031), UCLA (2025-26), Florida State (2027-28), Texas (2028-29) and Clemson (2029-30, 2032-33).
