Georgia wide receiver Nitro Tuggle was arrested early Thursday morning on charges of reckless driving and speeding. Offensive lineman Marques Easley, according to reports, crashed his car into a garage in Athens.

Georgia announced Thursday afternoon that Tuggle and Easley have been suspended from all team activities effective immediately. There will be no further comment from the school, Georgia said.

Easley and Tuggle are just the latest in a long line of deriving related offenses to come out of the Georgia football program across the years. Tuggle was booked just before 2 a.m. and posted $26 bail soon after. Easley’s incident had not been previously reported, though in the photograph above it appears he ran into a garage at significant speed to damage the front of the car and garage itself.

The Bulldogs have seen at least 20 players arrested across the past 2 years, dating back to a 2023 tragedy when offensive lineman Devin Willock and staffer Chandler LeCroy were killed in a car crash.
