Gerald Mincey, injured Kentucky OL, seen at concession stand during UK-Louisville
Gerald Mincey has had a disastrous year with the Kentucky Wildcats. The offensive lineman transferred to the Wildcats after spending the previous 2 seasons with the Tennessee Volunteers.
Unfortunately for Mincey, the Wildcats have racked up more losses than expected and Mincey has dealt with injuries. The OL hasn’t played in a game since an October matchup against Florida.
On Saturday, as the Wildcats were getting blown out by Louisville, Mincey was seen at the concession stand. Again – he was seen at the stand during the game.

The Wildcats certainly could’ve used a healthy Mincey this season. The team finished No. 115 in the season in sacks allowed and finished No. 81 in rushing offense.
It’s not a good look to leave your teammates on the sideline and go get a snack mid-game. Perhaps Mincey was just tired of watching the Wildcats get blown out by their arch-rivals to end their season.
It was a disaster of a way for the Wildcats to end the season. The team managed just 328 total yards of offense and turned the ball over 5 times. Cutter Boley and Gavin Wimsatt both got snaps at quarterback and neither threw for more than 125 yards. On defense, the Wildcats allowed the Cardinals to accumulate a whopping 358 rushing yards.
The Cardinals ended up defeating the Wildcats by a score of 41-14, ending Kentucky’s season at 4-8.
