UTSports.com posted a video to YouTube detailing the upcoming Battle at Bristol between No. 17 Tennessee and Virginia Tech.
The video features NASCAR drivers Trevor Bayne and Bubba Wallace, who both grew up around Volunteers football. Wallace even participated in a Tennessee spring practice.
“It’s kind of a colliding of two different sports,” Bayne, a NASCAR Sprint Cup Driver, said in the video. “For Tennessee and Virginia Tech to come together and battle right in the middle of both schools, it’s going to be an epic game.”
The massive SEC-ACC showdown, which is expected to attract 150,000 thousand fans to Bristol Motor Speedway, will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday on ABC.
“The electricity, the attitude, the atmosphere here is going to be outrageous,” said Wallace, a NASCAR Xfinity Driver. ” … For us, it’s hit our marks. For them, it’s hit their passes, hit their catches, hit their runs and take it all in the victory lane.”
