Auburn F Chuma Okeke made a name for himself during the SEC and NCAA Tournaments this year, but sadly tore his ACL in the Sweet 16 against North Carolina.

After the season ended, Okeke declared for the 2019 NBA Draft, even though he faces a lengthy rehab process.

He was invited to the NBA Combine, but now, according to Jonathan Givony, he has withdrawn from the event, which starts this week in Chicago:

Auburn fans are understandably excited about this news, as it means he could return to school. However, as Givony also mentions, it could mean that a team has made a promise to draft Okeke.

We won’t know what this means for a few more days, probably, as players have until later this month to decide whether or not to stay in the draft. Still, this is potentially a good sign for the Tigers.
