The Missouri Tigers kick off the SEC bowl matchups Wednesday night when they face Army in the Armed Forces Bowl. Both teams are coming off losses, Mizzou to Arkansas and Army to Navy, so they both are looking to redeem themselves in this game.

The subject of Mizzou and its prospects of winning this game was discussed on the “McElroy and Cubelic Show in the Morning” on WJOX radio out of Birmingham, Alabama. Neither co-host gave the Tigers a great chance to win the game. The Tigers will be without Tyler Badie, and will start Brady Cook at quarterback.

Their conversation begins at the 31:00 mark below:

“I am a huge fan of Army they aren’t super star-studded but that’s OK,” McElroy said. “I hate the matchup for Missouri. They could get run out of the gym quickly.”

Cubelic agrees and also thinks that the Tigers won’t have much of a chance to score a lot either.

“There won’t be many offensive tries to have for Missouri,” he said.

The game kicks off at 8 pm ET on ESPN.
