SEC Network studio analyst Greg McElroy will join the desk of SEC Nation, the network’s traveling pregame show, for the 2015 season, ESPN announced Wednesday.
Thrilled to be joining #SECNation on Saturday mornings this fall. I’m grateful for the opportunity and look forward getting on campus soon!

The former Alabama quarterback will replace Tim Tebow.
“Greg impressed us in studio last year with his passion for the conference and his knowledge of the game,” said Stephanie Druley, ESPN senior vice president in a press release. “He brings a wealth of X&O’s acumen, and deep knowledge of the history and traditions of the conference, to the analyst role.”
SEC Nation is SEC Network’s sister show to College GameDay and returns for its second season on Sept. 5. It will be hosted by Joe Tessitore, Marcus Spears, Paul Finebaum, Kaylee Hartung and McElroy.
