Greg McElroy seems to believe the Ole Miss Rebels are a team that is finally in full form to take down the Georgia Bulldogs. That’s a statement that could hardly be made in past years, but with the way Lane Kiffin’s team is currently rolling, it is one that could actually make some sense.
“This is the first time it feels like Ole Miss has actually got to a battle with a capable artillery,” McElroy said. “They have the weapons along the defensive front to be able to go and potentially make life difficult for Carson Beck, who has struggled seeing the field for the last few weeks.”

McElroy sees the efforts Lane Kiffin and his team has made on the recruiting trail as a big part of propelling the team to this point.
“I never felt like Ole Miss had a fair chance in games like this,” McElroy said. “With how they’ve recruited and what they’ve attracted in the portal, I actually think they’re more capable now than they ever have been before. So, we’ll see how they fare.”
The Rebels are currently on a two-game winning streak that they will look to extend to three games, coming off of a dominant 63-31 win over Arkansas. They’ll have a chance to prove they can build upon that when they kick off against the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. ET in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday.
