Growing pains: Former Florida DB Teez Tabor a healthy scratch for Detroit Lions

All preseason, we’ve heard reports that former Florida CB Jalen “Teez” Tabor has struggled.
The Detroit Lions’ second-round pick hasn’t adjusted to the NFL game as quickly as the team would have liked, and now they’ve been forced to make a surprising decision for Week 1.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Tabor is a healthy scratch for Sunday’s Week 1 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals:
Rookie CB inactives: Raiders 1st-round pick Gareon Conley, Lions 2nd-round pick Teez Tabor, Eagles 3rd-round pick Rasul Douglas.

It’s still early, so the Lions are probably hoping their second-round pick can crack the active roster at some point, but it’s still not a good sign.
Against a high-powered Cardinals’ offense, the Lions could use all the help they can get, so they must really not have faith in the former Gator heading into the start of the season.
