Auburn could be without two of its top receivers on Saturday as the Tigers face MAC foe Kent State on The Plains.

Speaking on Tuesday afternoon, Gus Malzahn announced that Seth Williams, who went down with an apparent upper-body injury late in the second quarter this past Saturday after bringing in a 40-yard catch, will be out against the Golden Flashes. Malzahn did not mention when he will return.

Williams, the hero of the season opener against Oregon, has caught five passes for 81 yards and a touchdown so far this season.

Anthony Schwartz, who played with a cast on his left hand against Tulane, will dress and be on the field but his status is unknown. The speedy receiver broke his hand on Aug. 4, during the team’s training camp, requiring surgery.

The Tigers are set to host Kent State at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
