Guts: Kyle Trask played through sprained MCL in win over Auburn

Florida quarterback Kyle Trask wasn’t spectacular in the 24-13 win over Auburn, but he showed some major guts.
Trask was injured midway through the second quarter against Auburn, and he left for the locker room. He was replaced by Emory Jones, but Trask made his return just before halftime and played a series.
The hit looked bad on Trask. It wasn’t a dirty play, although Dan Mullen thought it was; rather, the defensive lineman’s low hit was incidental and not on purpose.

Trask revealed to reporters after the game that he played through a sprained MCL. Obviously, Mullen thought he was fine, because he called multiple quarterback runs and even threw a pass to Trask in the second half.
The Florida quarterback finished 19-of-31 for 234 yards and two touchdowns. He also fumbled multiple times due to Auburn’s defensive line prowess.
