Heisman Odds 2023: Caleb Williams, Marvin Harrison Jr. leading SEC QBs in early action
With Week 1 of the college football season on the horizon, the Heisman Trophy picture is beginning to form.
Last year’s winner is this year’s favorite in the updated Heisman odds heading into the beginning of the season. Caleb Williams currently sits at +450 to win a second Heisman Trophy, a feat that has only been done one other time. Williams also has a 20% handle heading into the season.

Behind Williams sits another outstanding returning player, Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State. Harrison Jr. is one of the most dominant players in college football and certainly one of the best receivers in recent memory. For that, Harrison Jr. holds 10% of the handle and has +2000 odds.
A pair of SEC quarterbacks are also in the Heisman conversation early.
LSU’s Jayden Daniels, who has +1100 odds of taking home the trophy heading into the season, holds 9% of the handle. Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton, who has +2200 odds, also holds 9% of the handle.
