Heisman train has left the station: Fans ready to give Florida QB Kyle Trask the trophy after huge first half
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Florida QB Kyle Trask entered the 2020 season as a bit of a dark horse Heisman Trophy candidate. Many wondered if Trask could make a jump similar to the one LSU QB Joe Burrow made from 2018 to 2019.
Well, he hasn’t given anyone a reason to doubt him thus far, as he has picked apart the Ole Miss defense in the first half of Saturday’s season opener.
Below, you can check out all 4 (yes, 4!) of his touchdown passes — 2 to Kyle Pitts, 1 to Trevon Grimes and 1 to Kadarius Toney:

Do not be surprised if Kyle Trask and the Heisman are a real conversation by the time November hits.

I will not eat my words. Kyle Trask will be in New York for the Heisman trophy presentation in December

What will he do in the second half? We’ll see soon enough, but this has been a heck of a start for the senior quarterback.
