Part of ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit’s job is to make predictions during ESPN’s “College GameDay.” Each week, we’ll keep track of how the former Ohio State quarterback’s SEC prognostication is going for the 2015 season.

This week: 2-2
Season: 8-6

THE PICKS

Week 4 was a mixed bag for the ESPN analyst. Tennessee’s come-from-ahead loss denied him his third straight winning week, as he had to settle for .500.

LOSS: Tennessee over Florida — Volunteer fans are still wondering about what might have been as Florida erased a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter to pull out a 28-27 win..

WIN: Texas A&M over Arkansas — It wasn’t the, uh, butt kicking that Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury predicted, but a hard fought game in Arlington went the Aggies’ way, 28-21 in overtime.

LOSS: Auburn over Mississippi State — Herbstreit thought Sean White would make enough plays to knock off the Bulldogs. Not quite, as Dak Prescott and MSU notched a 17-9 win.

WIN: Kentucky over Missouri — Continued faith in the Wildcats paid off for Herbstreit as the Wildcats recorded a 21-13 win over the slumping Tigers.
