In the highest scoring Iron Bowl in history that saw over 1,100 yards of offense, Alabama found a way to overcome three interceptions from Blake Sims and erase the memory of the kick-six. Heisman contender Amari Cooper tied his own school record with 224 receiving yards to go along with three touchdowns. Nick Marshall and the Tigers came out of the gates strong, with Marshall and his amazing receivers putting up a strong highlight reel in the first half. Bryant-Denny was all but silent.
But the magic was gone after halftime. Lane Kiffin and Blake Sims nailed whatever adjustments were necessary as the Tide demolished the Auburn defense through the end of the game.
