Channing Tindall is one of the best players in the 2018 class.

As such, he has plenty of the nation’s most storied programs recruiting him heavily. A four-star linebacker from Columbia, South Carolina, Tindall had originally scheduled Sunday to be the day he would reveal the schools that will receive his official visits.

But in a tweet from his personal account Sunday, Tindall announced he would hold postpone that announcement.

“Just a quick update to let everyone know that I will not be announcing my official visits today as previous planned,” he wrote. “I have built great relationships with coaches in Florida and due to the current of conditions down there, my heart will not let me focus on football while people are working to secure their families. This change of events will also delay my decision that was planned for the end of this month. Gator Nation and Tomahawk Nation, you are in my thoughts and prayers! #OneNation”

Tindall is ranked as a four-star 2018 prospect according to the 247Sports Composite, ranked No. 121 overall, No. 2 in the state of South Carolina and the No. 5 outside linebacker.

South Carolina is the favorite to land him according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions, receiving 83 percent of the projections thus far. Florida State had the remaining 17 percent of the predictions.
