History could be made during conference championship week this weekend.
There have never been 4 undefeated conference champions since the games began in 1992, but with Georgia, Michigan, Florida State and Washington all heading into their conference championships undefeated, it could happen this year.
If Georgia, Michigan, Washington and FSU all win their leagues, it would be historic. According to @ESPNStatsInfo, there have never been that many undefeated champs since the games began in 1992. Let that sink in for a minute.

But history doesn’t favor that chances of it happening, so there could very likely be an upset this weekend.
Washington and Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship could be a Playoff-deciding game. If Washington wins the game and remains undefeated, the Huskies would almost undoubtedly be in. But if Oregon avenges its loss to the Huskies, the Ducks could be the ones reaching the Playoff.
Similarly in the SEC, Alabama is looking for a huge win over Georgia to reach the Playoff. The Tide would also likely need some help with a loss somewhere else, like the Big 12 or ACC Championships.
Florida State can’t afford an upset to Louisville this weekend. The Seminoles are without starting quarterback Jordan Travis, so they’ll need to prove they can win without him.
Michigan should have no trouble against Iowa, but a loss would likely put them out of contention for the CFP.
