Fournette’s race is scheduled for 4:09 p.m. with a purse of $75,000. Leonard Fournette will appear with LSU teammates Ethan Ocic and Tre’Davious White, as well as head coach Les Miles at SEC Media Days on Thursday.

Fournette rushed for 1,953 yards — second among SEC backs — and 28 touchdowns in 2015. The Fournette horse’s owners are hoping to see similar success on the race track this weekend.
