Part of ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit’s job is to make predictions during ESPN’s “College GameDay.” Each week, we’ll keep track of how the former Ohio State quarterback’s SEC prognostication is going for the 2015 season.

This week: 2-1
Season: 14-10

THE PICKS

Week 7 was a good one for Herbstreit. Only Memphis’ upset of Ole Miss kept him from a 3-0 mark. Still, he’s now four games over .500 on the season.

WIN: LSU over Florida — LSU used a bit of trickery — and a lot of Leonard Fournette — to hold off the Gators.

WIN: Alabama over Texas A&M — The Crimson Tide cashed in on Texas A&M errors to take the victory at Kyle Field.

LOSS: Ole Miss over Memphis — A 14-0 lead vanished for the Rebels as the Tigers pulled the upset in the Liberty Bowl.
