Hugh Freeze appeared on SEC Nation on Saturday morning ahead of Auburn’s showdown against Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon.

Freeze was asked a question from Paul Finebaum during the show about “blocking out the noise” from the outside after Auburn’s slow start to the 2024 campaign.

The Auburn coach said he’s off social media and joked that he doesn’t watch Finebaum’s show anymore. However, he quickly admitted that was not true — and even said that his daughter had a message for the longtime radio host.

“My youngest daughter, Madison, she’s like me,” Freeze said. “She’s got the fire. She said, ‘We love Paul but tell him to go kick rocks … and then she said ‘I need to go read my bible now.”

Here’s video of the moment:

Freeze and the Tigers are looking to get back in the win column on Saturday against Oklahoma. It’s been a rough month so far for the Tigers, but Auburn is a 1-point favorite over the Sooners at home in Week 5.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
