A college football head coach can control a number of aspects within the team: Practice time, personnel calls, schematic decisions, etc.
One thing that can’t be controlled: Mother Nature.
Hurricane Matthew is on the cusp of smashing the Southeastern seaboard — particularly the states of Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

When looking at the slate of games within the SEC on Saturday, two contests may be affected by the impending natural disaster. Florida will host LSU in Gainesville — whilst Georgia will head south to take on South Carolina in Columbia.
The more projections I see, the more I believe the UGA @ South Carolina game Sat night could be affected by Hurricane Matthew.

It appears as if the hurricane will continue to move north as the week progresses. This may be a positive sign for the game between the Gators and the Tigers. However, another projection has the storm hitting the coast of South Carolina on Saturday afternoon.
Should this occur, the contest featuring the Gamecocks and the Bulldogs will most certainly be impacted.
