Iowa kick returner Jonathan Parker made a questionable decision during the second quarter of the 2015 TaxSlayer Bowl, after fielding the ball on the goal line and attempted to pitch the ball away before tip-toeing out of bounds.
The ball was recovered by Tennessee’s RaShaan Gaulden, although the original call ruled that Parker was out of bounds. After review, the officials claimed Parker was in bounds, but made a forward lateral, which in itself was a penalty. Iowa kept possession, beginning its ensuing drive on its own 2-yard line.
