Iraq War veteran, Purple Heart recipient, speaks to Kentucky football team about brotherhood, sacrifice
Kentucky football received some words of advice from an American hero ahead of the 2023 campaign on Monday.

“What are you going to do to get better personally and professionally,” Bradford said. “Each and every day, that’s what you focus on. It doesn’t matter if it’s 5 minutes or an hour, you get better each and every day.”

Bradford spoke to the Wildcats about holding one another accountable in practice to ensure the unit grows as the season goes on. He related his experience in the Marines to the battle that is football.
The message is sure to resonate with the team and inspire them as they set off for another tough season.
The Wildcats had mixed results in 2022, going 7-6 after starting off the year winning their first four games. The season ended with a 21-0 loss to Iowa in the Music City Bowl.
Kentucky will look to ride the inspiration from Bradford’s message as they prepare for the 2023 season.
