Isaia Faga, a 6-foot-2 and 275-pound defensive lineman out of Phenix City, Alabama (Central), has flipped his commitment from Utah to the Alabama.
Faga had been committed to Utah since Dec. 10, and is the 9th commitment for the Crimson Tide and the 5th player to come in from the state. Faga was offered by Utah in April of 2020, and he also drew early interest from Oregon State and Auburn. Faga was recruited to Alabama by Eric Wolford and Freddie Roach.
Faga officially visited Alabama earlier this month about a week before he also visited Texas.
Faga is the No. 78 defensive lineman in the country, and the No. 33 player in the state of Alabama, according to the 247Sports Composite.
