The SEC led the way with nine second-round picks, and it only had to wait three picks into the third round for its first selection.

South Carolina guard was taken 67th overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he’ll join a fellow SEC alum in Alabama tailback and second-round selection T.J. Yeldon.

Cann fell a bit in the draft as a second-round projection by many, but he hardly had to wait in the third before he was selected by the Jags. He’s South Carolina’s first draftee of the year, and its highest selection since, well, Jadeveon Clowney, who went No. 1 overall last year.
