Late last month, Jackson Muschamp — the son of South Carolina coach Will Muschamp — announced he was committing to Colorado State.

Now, it appears he’s had second thoughts and will instead head to the SEC — but not to South Carolina. No, instead, the younger Muschamp will head to Georgia to play at his father’s alma mater.

As you can see below, 247Sports reporter Rusty Mansell tweeted that Muschamp was flipping to Georgia, and Muschamp himself retweeted the news:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Muschamp is the No. 97 pro-style quarterback prospect in the 2020 class and the No. 71 overall recruit from the state of South Carolina.

It appears that Muschamp will walk on at Georgia, joining the Bulldogs’ No. 1-rated recruiting class.
