Burton was a freshman at Florida in 2010, Meyer’s last season as the Gators head coach.
Burton was extremely versatile in college. During his time at Florida he played quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end. In the NFL, Burton was a tight end with the Philadelphia Eagles (2014-17), Chicago Bears (2018-19) and Indianapolis Colts (2020).
