Jaheim Bell targets: Mother of TE joins chorus of questions about his lack of involvement

Jaheim Bell was expected to be an integral part of the South Carolina offense this season, but the tight end has struggled to be targeted and contribute to the Gamecocks.
Bell’s lack of catches, and even targets, have come up in recent days with offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield, and did again after the game with Shane Beamer. Bell didn’t register a catch in South Carolina’s 23-10 loss to Missouri.
After the game, Beamer said, “Jaheim Bell’s healthy and we got to get him the ball more.”
This came after Satterfield was asked about Bell’s involvement on Wednesday.
“If it was up to me, I’d find a way to get him the ball 1,000 times…I hope he gets the ball 20 times. That means we’re doing pretty good,” Satterfield said.
The issue is often contrasted with Bell’s play in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl last year against North Carolina when he had 5 catches for 159 yards and 2 touchdowns.
