Ja’Marr Chase injury: NFL insider provides positive update on Bengals star

Things are looking up for former LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase as he could make his return from injury as soon as the Week 12 game against the Tennessee Titans. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Chase is now off crutches and “actually has a chance to play” next week.
Chase has been sidelined for 2 games so far this season, which will reach a total of 3 contests as the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. He sustained a hip injury in Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints but played through it before re-aggravating it.
The Bengals did not place him injured reserve, which would have seen him sidelined for no less than 4 games. Over 78 games in 2022, Chase totals 47 catches for 605 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns.
As long as he stay on the same trajectory, it looks like he has a chance to expand upon those numbers as the Bengals face the Titans at noon CT on Sunday, Nov. 27.
