Ja’Marr Chase, a star wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals and master of “The Griddy”, threw shade on Twitter at Mike Gesicki.

“The Griddy” is a dance that has become increasingly popular over the last few years, thanks to former LSU Tigers like Chase and Justin Jefferson. Chase, and QB-turned-analyst Robert Griffin III, were not particularly impressed with Gesicki’s attempt at the dance.

Gesicki was celebrating after a 4-yard TD in the 4th quarter of the Dolphins’ matchup with Minnesota. Gesicki also attempted the dance after scoring in Week 2. That attempt was also met with criticism.

The dance was invented by a close friend of Chase, Allen “Griddy” Davis. Davis showed the dance to Chase, who later showed it to LSU teammate Justin Jefferson, and the rest is history.
