Jameson Williams injury update: Tide wide receiver leaves Cincinnati game
By Adam Spencer

Jameson Williams is a critical part of the Alabama offense. Not only is he the team’s leading receiver, he also returns kickoffs and covers punts.
But, after getting hit hard on a kickoff return in the second half of Friday afternoon’s Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Texas, Williams went to the medical tent on the Crimson Tide sideline:

Laura Rutledge, the ESPN sideline reporter, said Williams is dealing with a shoulder injury and is questionable to return to the game.
With John Metchie III also out for the rest of the year with an injury, that’s a huge loss for Alabama. We’ll see if he can return to the game.
UPDATE: Williams sat out the drive after his injury, but he was back on the field and ready to go for Alabama’s very next drive.
