Jared Lorenzen takes playful jab at Tennessee for ‘Championship of Life’ awards
People are having a field day with Tennessee coach Butch Jones’ attempt of sending out his seniors with a championship — “The Championship of Life.”
Former Kentucky quarterback Jared Lorenzen, also famously known as “The Hefty Lefty,” had a pretty funny response, joining the many on social media who have taken lighthearted jabs at the underachieving Volunteers:
If Butch is right I won a ton on Championships here at UK. #championshipofLife

Tennessee (8-3, 4-3) was the preseason favorite to win the SEC East this season but a three-game losing streak in the heart of its schedule proved detrimental for its chances, as Florida clinched a conference championship appearance last week with its upset victory over LSU.
The Vols are still hoping for a chance at the Sugar Bowl.
