Jason Whitlock speculates that Kiffin is mad that Saban didn’t help him get a better job

Fun at Alabama? What’s that?
FOX Sports 1 talking head Jason Whitlock recently speculated that Lane Kiffin is mad at Nick Saban because he couldn’t get a better head coaching job than FAU.
Kiffin’s recent comments about “fun” not being in Nick Saban’s vocabulary and how he won’t take the “ass chewings” with him to FAU made Whitlock speculate on the notion.
But Saban can only get his assistants so far. During the interview process, the coaching candidate — in this case Kiffin — would have to sell the university on his ability to lead a program (and make sure the school knows the past is in the past). That obviously didn’t happen at Houston.
Just because Saban is arguably the best coach in the history of college football, he can’t make universities hire his assistants, especially assistants with a little baggage like Kiffin.
It would be silly for Kiffin to feel this way.
