Jaxson Dart over Shedeur Sanders? ESPN analyst debates as NFL Draft odds shift

Former Ole Miss star Jaxson Dart is hoping to be among the top quarterbacks taken in this year’s NFL Draft, and the odds are shifting in his favor.
Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders, the son of head coach Deion Sanders, has long been viewed as the No. 2 quarterback available behind Miami star Cam Ward. However, the odds for the 2nd QB off the board have shifted in a major way.
According to DraftKings, Sanders is now -250 to be the 2nd QB selected while Dart’s odds have come down to +200. So, what does that dramatic shift signify for the draft?
ESPN tackled the topic on “Get Up” with NFL analyst and insider Peter Schrager breaking it down.
“I haven’t spoken to anyone that has Jaxson Dart over Shedeur Sanders,” admitted Schrager. “I don’t. I don’t have anyone that has said ‘We’re Jaxson Dart team’.”
If that’s the case, where is the shift coming from? Schrager indicated it’s because no team has expressed being fully blown away by Sanders in the process, leading to a particularly intriguing draft:
“That said, I don’t have anyone who’s doing flips over Shedeur Sanders either. It’s a really interesting draft right now. Cam Ward has aced this entire process. I believe he will go first overall to the Titans. The intrigue starts and who’s the next QB taken,” conceded Schrager. “… I wouldn’t be shocked if we came in the Friday morning after the draft and Jalen Milroe is the next QB taken.”
