Jaydn Ott was looked at as 1 of the best returning running backs in the country entering the 2024 season, but he was forced to deal with injuries that kept him out much of this past season.
However, Ott made big news on social media as he announced he would be returning to California next season.
During the 2024 season, Ott was limited to only 116 carries for 385 yards and 4 touchdowns. In 2023 though, he was 1 of the best running backs in college football, as he finished with 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns. Not only is he a threat running the ball, but he also has 96 catches throughout his career at California.
Ott coming back to California is big news for a team that lost its quarterback to the transfer portal as Alberto Mendoza announced he would be going to Indiana.
The second wave of the transfer portal is in full effect, with many guys all across the country announcing that they are moving to the next school. With Ott staying, the Golden Bears got a huge lift as they start to prepare for their 2nd season in the ACC.
