Florida’s expectations for Malik Zaire, SEC-Big Ten sister schools, previewing AP Top 25

In the latest installment of the Saturday Down South podcast, host John Crist and co-host Connor O’Gara discuss Malik Zaire’s much-ballyhooed transfer from Notre Dame to Florida.
The Gators have obviously had trouble at the game’s most important position in recent years, and Zaire is already talking a big game in Gainesville. However, he didn’t accomplish much with the Fighting Irish, so what can UF fans honestly expect?
Additionally, since Connor has spent the majority of his career covering the Big Ten, he and JC put together a list of sister schools for the SEC. Alabama-Ohio State seems like a no-brainer comparison, but what about Auburn-Michigan State or Tennessee-Penn State? Some of the leagues’ more recent acquisitions like Missouri and Rutgers don’t have a natural partner, either.
