Tennessee looked like it would make it a one-score game late in the fourth quarter against Alabama; however, quarterback Jarrett Guarantano fumbled the football on fourth and goal on an attempted sneak.
Alabama defensive back Trevon Diggs picked it up and ran it back 100 yards for the touchdown.
Following the fumble, Jeremy Pruitt was hot at Guarantano, and he chewed him out as he reached the sideline. Pruitt even grabbed his quarterback’s face mask and benched him for the next series.
