Jerry Jeudy hasn’t played since suffering a sprained right ankle during the Denver Broncos’ 2021 season opener against the New York Giants. But with the Broncos set to host the Washington Football Team in Week 8, Jeudy appears to be set for action.
While speaking to the media on Thursday, Jeudy discussed how difficult it was to miss Denver’s past 6 games as well as his upcoming return on Sunday.
“Yeah, of course, especially just being on the sideline, not being able to compete with your team to go out there and try to win. So, yeah, it’s very frustrating,” Jeudy told the media. “But now, I’m back in action. I’m ready to go.”

Jeudy should provide a boost to the Broncos’ passing attack. The former Alabama wide receiver had a solid rookie season in 2020, notching 52 receptions for 856 yards and 3 touchdowns.
In Denver’s 2021 opener, Jeudy had 6 catches for 72 yards before getting injured. Now that he’s healthy, there’s a good chance he’ll continue to improve and put up some impressive numbers down the stretch.
Denver and Washington are set to kick off on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
