It took some time and there was plenty of adversity along the way, but Jim Harbaugh seemingly has gotten Michigan over the hump.
The Wolverines beat Purdue in the Big Ten Championship game Saturday night to move to 13-0 on the season.
They will earn their 2nd consecutive College Football Playoff berth on Sunday and many expect Michigan to ultimately battle Georgia for a national title.
Harbaugh’s recent success, including back-to-back wins over rival Ohio State, had drawn significant attention from NFL teams.
He interviewed for the Minnesota Vikings job after last season and a report Sunday from NFL insider Tom Pellissero indicates that more NFL teams will be taking a long look at Harbaugh after this season.
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is once again drawing interest from NFL teams. And while Harbaugh has said the door is closed on a return to the pro game, some within the league believe he’d still consider the right opportunity. From me and @RapSheet: https://t.co/Gfx1PabH9F

Harbaugh has said he’s happy at his alma mater and intends to stay put, but NFL executives believe the right job/offer could be enticing.
The 58-year-old Harbaugh is in his 8th season with the Wolverines and has a 74-24 overall record.
