Florida will be taking on the rival Tennessee Volunteers next weekend in Knoxville.
It will be the biggest game of the season to date for both teams. Unfortunately for the Gators, they’ll likely be without starting quarterback Luke Del Rio.

Del Rio suffered a brutal hit to his knee during the victory over North Texas. He had to leave the game, and did not return. During the postgame presser, head coach Jim McElwain expects that Del Rio will not be available.
Should Del Rio not feature, Purdue transfer Austin Appleby will likely get the call. Tennessee boasts a deep and talented collection of pass-rushing threat led by Derek Barnett. It will be incumbent upon the Gators’ ground-game to take pressure off of Appleby
