Florida coach Jim McElwain released a statement Monday afternoon after the arrest of freshmen wide receivers Tyrie Cleveland and Rick Wells.

“This is not behavior that we expect and as I often talk about there will be consequences for their actions,” McElwain said in the statement.

Both players were booked at the Alachua County jail. According to MugShotsGainesville.com, Cleveland and Wells were each charged with damaging property of $1,000 or more and an illegal possession of a weapon.
