To little surprise, Jeremy Foley’s retirement announcement Monday has drawn reaction about his legacy throughout the country.
Two major faces of Florida’s past and present took to Twitter to make their thoughts known as well.
Former coach Steve Spurrier and current coach Jim McElwain tweeted their tributes after the news broke. Given how Foley impacted both, it’s no shock that they gave a virtual hat tip to UF’s long-time athletic director.
27 National Titles in 25 years. He will go down as the greatest AD in UF history!Congrats to JF https://t.co/brWSPEucth
