With the calendar turning to January, school is starting and that means several early enrollees will be starting college now with an eye toward spring practices in a few months.
Jim McElwain officially welcomed his early enrollees:

Those early enrolles are McArthur Burnett, Feleipe Franks, Stone Forsythe, Chauncey Gardner II, Josh Hammond, Dre Massey, Eddy Pineiro, David Reese, Jordan Smith, Freddie Swain, Mark Thompson and Kyle Trask:

Massey and Thompson are both four-star recruits according to Rivals. And the Florida recruiting class is the No. 7 recruiting class in the country according to Rivals. The Gators are just coming off a 10-win season and a trip to the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.
It feels like McElwain has a good base to begin building his program off of. We will see though what these new Gators can do soon.
