Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher is one of the biggest names attached to the LSU opening.
The Seminoles’ coach has been one of the most successful in college football since taking the gig and has strong ties to LSU already. Fisher served as the Tigers’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2000-06 under Nick Saban and Les Miles.
Despite the connection, Fisher has remained steadfast in his commitment to Florida State. On Tuesday’s ACC teleconference, Fisher once again reaffirmed that notion.
Fisher told reporters, “I’m fully invested in Florida State,” per 247Sports’ Bob Ferrante.
