Former LSU star Joe Burrow continues to impress on the professional stage.
According to Pro Football Focus, Burrow was a top-5 passer in Week 8.
Here’s how PFF graded this week’s NFL QBs heading into the Monday night game:
1. Patrick Mahomes – 92.7
2. Russell Wilson – 84.7
3. Aaron Rodgers – 81.6
4. Nick Mullens – 81.2
5. Joe Burrow – 80.1
Burrow was excellent in a 31-20 upset victory over the Titans. Burrow completed 26-of-37 passes for 249 yards and two touchdowns despite not having most of his offensive line available.
He connected at least six times with three different receivers: Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate.
This was only Cincinnati’s second win on the season, but Burrow’s efficiency has kept the Bengals competitive. He’s completed 67 percent of his passes for 2,272 yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions so far in his rookie campaign. He’s also rushed for 130 yards and three scores in eight games.
The reigning Heisman Trophy winner will be back in action on Nov. 15 against the Steelers.
