Joe Burrow had nothing but praise for Ja’Marr Chase after the Bengals defeated the Saints.

The former LSU teammates connected 7 times for 132 yards, with Chase securing 2 TDs. Burrow ended the game with 300 passing yards and 3 TDs en route to a 30-26 Bengal victory. The former LSU standouts have become one of the best QB-WR duos in the NFL.

After the game. Burrow and Chase were interviewed together on being back in Louisiana together.

“He’s not only a great teammate, he’s one of my best friends,” Burrow said of Chase. “I’m so fortunate to be able to play with this guy.”

Burrow and Chase were part of that historic 2019 LSU Tigers team that defeated Clemson in the National Championship. The 2 were reunited in Cincinnati when the Bengals selected Chase in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Bengals improved to 3-3 and will play host to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7.
