John Daly is a big-time Arkansas fan. So it shouldn’t be a surprise who the longtime professional golfer is picking to win the Razorbacks’ home matchup against Texas A&M on Saturday.

During an appearance on ESPNU Radio this week, Daly told Dusty Dvoracek and Danny Kanell that he’s picking Arkansas to knock off Texas A&M, 28-17. And Daly also went on to share how Razorbacks fans are currently feeling after their 3-0 start.

“We’re excited, because we feel like Lazarus — we’re coming from the dead,” Daly said. “And it’s just awesome to watch. And our fans are always going to support our Razorbacks no matter what, but there’s nothing better than winning.”

Both Arkansas and Texas A&M are ranked after beginning the season with 3 consecutive wins.

The Aggies have been ranked all year, and they’re currently No. 7 after beating Kent State, Colorado and New Mexico. Meanwhile, the Razorbacks have ascended to No. 16 after notching victories over Rice, Texas and Georgia Southern.

If Daly is right and Arkansas improves to 4-0, it would mark the first time the Razorbacks have beat Texas A&M since 2011. The Aggies have won the past 9 meetings between the 2 schools.

Arkansas and Texas A&M are set to kick off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
